New CH-UH Superintendent Holding Meet-And-Greets
Elizabeth Kirby will get to know the families of Cleveland Heights and University Heights with a series of gatherings in August.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β New Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools Superintendent Elizabeth Kirby will hold informal meet-and-greets throughout the school district starting in August.
"I am really looking forward to getting out in the community and meeting residents," Kirby said in a statement to Patch. "It's incredibly important to me that I learn what our families wish to see for their children's education and future."
All of the gatherings are free and open to residents and families in Cleveland Heights and University Heights.

- Tuesday, August 13 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. - Noble Elementary School Playdate

Originally from the Shaker-Buckeye neighborhood, Kirby was previously the Chief of School Strategy and Planning for Chicago Public Schools. Her tenure with the Chicago Public Schools lasted more than two decades.
Kirby was a finalist for both the Shaker Heights Superintendent position and the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Superintendent position. She was hired in CH-UH and will begin work in the district on August 1.
