New Director For Coventry Village Non-Profit
Mallory Phillips will become the Executive Director of the Coventry Village Special Improvement District.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Coventry Village Special Improvement District has a new Executive Director — Mallory Phillips. She will be tasked with leading an organization that works to improve the life of residents in the neighborhood and create economic benefits for Coventry businesses.
“The Coventry merchants and SID are really looking forward to working with Mallory Phillips as our new Executive Director,” said Suzanne DeGaetano, owner of the Coventry staple Mac’s Backs Bookstore. “She has a real passion for neighborhoods, small business and community and the unique ability to celebrate that through social media and events.”
Phillips has a background in marketing, events, and brand development. In 2013, she started her own agency, specializing in red carpet fundraisers for non-profits in Beverly Hills, California. She also provided marketing services to shopping centers in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

She moved to Cleveland in 2015, bringing her company, Dreamhouse Marketing, with her. She's been working with local businesses like Six Shooter Coffee, Jukebox, The Cleveland Hostel, and the Beachland Ballroom. She has also developed community events like SoLo Stroll and TheBeachland Ballroom’s 2017 Rockin’ Flea Market series.
In a press release, Phillips said she wants to create enticing programming and events in Coventry Village, while increasing awareness of the neighborhood. She also wants to direct public art projects and develop a digital marketing plan for communicating with the people of Coventry Village.

“Coventry Village is a unique place full of wonderful and hardworking people,” said Phillips. “I’m thrilled by the opportunity to work alongside them, tell their stories, promote their work, and help build a more connected and active community around this magical place.
