Noble Road Fire Causes $100,000 in Damage to Home

Officials are still investigating the cause

A three-family home on the 2200 block of Noble Road caught fire around 10 p.m. Sunday.Β 

The blaze started in a first-floor bedroom, said Cleveland Heights Fire Inspector John Coleman. The is still investigating what caused the fire.Β 

The call came in around 10:20 p.m., Coleman said, and Cleveland Heights requested assistance from the Shaker Heights, University Heights and South Euclid fire departments.

Everyone got out safely, he said, and no one was taken to the hospital. Coleman was not sure how many people lived in the home.

He said he didn't know how long it took crews to calm the flames, but the department was on the scene for three hours.Β

The damage to the home is estimated to be about $100,000, and that does not include the furniture, clothing and other items inside, Coleman said.Β
