Noon Year's Eve Celebration Returning To Cleveland Heights
The family-friendly event culminates in a balloon drop that's sure to delight the kids.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β For the third straight year, families looking to celebrate New Year's Eve a bit early can attend Noon Year's Eve at the Cleveland Heights Community Center. The festivities include ice skating, games and other activities for families.
The party starts at 11:30 a.m. and finishes at 12:30 p.m., so no one has to miss their bedtime to celebrate. Tickets are $5 per person. Admission covers the cost of skates, activities and giveaways.
A city official said Noon Year's Eve typically draws about 200 people, so guests may want to arrive early to secure their skates. Ice skating is one of the big draws for the event.

Just before noon, guests will take part in a countdown to 12 p.m. When the clock strikes 12, balloons will fall from above. The entire celebration is geared for families with young children, a city official said.
