Overdose Death In Cleveland Heights: Drug Dealer Sentenced
A Cleveland man sold a mixture of heroin and fentanyl to a 46-year-old Heights resident. The opioids led to the man's death.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β A drug dealer that sold a fatal dose of heroin and fentanyl to a Cleveland Heights man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
βThis defendant sold drugs that directly resulted in a death,β U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman said. βWe will continue to seek long prison sentences for drug dealers who kill and injure our friends and neighbors.β
Michael Cleveland, 35, was sentenced to 135 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to distribution of fentanyl and heroin resulting in death. He was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Cleveland Heights Police and the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs.
