Overnight Parking Restrictions Return To Cleveland Heights
Starting Sept. 8, overnight parking restrictions will be enforced in Cleveland Heights.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cleveland Heights officials chose not to enforce several parking restrictions in the city. Starting Sept. 8, that will change.
Law enforcement will again enforce the overnight parking ban throughout the city. Parking on streets will not be allowed between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.
The rush hour parking ban will also be re-implemented in September, barring parking on streets during the busiest traffic hours of the day.

"Rush hour parking is just on some of the main streets such as Euclid Heights," a city spokesperson told Patch. "It helps ensure traffic can keep moving by removing parked cars. It will be different sides of the street for morning versus evening rush hour."
Parking at meters throughout the city continues to be free.
