Park Synagogue Donates Benches To Cain Park

In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Park Synagogue gifted a pair of benches to Cleveland Heights.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” On Sunday afternoon, Park Synagogue gifted two benches to Cain Park. The dedication was done by Cantor Misha Pisman and the ceremony was attended by Cleveland Heights city councilpersons.

"The history of Park Synagogue and the City of Cleveland Heights are inseparable," Pisman told Patch. "As a token of our appreciation to the city we decided to dedicate these benches."

Park Synagogue is celebrating its 150th anniversary as an organization, and 70 years as a Cleveland Heights institution. The synagogue's main building is now on Mayfield Road and is on the National Registry List.

The benches are located in front of the Cain Park box office.
