Patch Picks: 5 Great Restaurants for Valentine's Day

Looking for a romantic dining spot to wow that special someone on Valentine's Day? Cleveland Heights Patch rounded up five local restaurants offering eclectic menus, specials for two and entertainment.

Nighttown pairs comfort with class in creating their dishes, such as lobster macaroni and cheese, and like most weekends, customers can enjoy dinner with music on Valentine's Day weekend. Marc Antoine featuring James Lloyd and Alexander Zonjic play two shows, at 8 and 10 p.m. Friday, $25 cover. On Saturday, Roy King’s Court (trio) plays a free show at 8:30 p.m. Kurt Elling plays two shows at 6 and 8 p.m. Sunday, $30 cover. Helen Welch performs two sets on the actual holiday at 7 and 8:30 p.m. for no cover.

Fire is offering a special sautéed sea scallop dish with citrus olive relish and sautéed spinach on Valentine’s Day. The eclectic menu of entrees focuses on roasted meats and fish, cooked over a wood fire and served with seasonal vegetables, with prices ranging from $20-$35.

Dine at L’Albatros on Friday, Saturday, or Monday and enjoy a St. Valentine's Day special: $75 for two guests and flight of three wines at $28 a guest. 

4. Zanzibar Soul Fusion

Zanzibar offers "upscale, Southern cuisine" at affordable prices ranging from $8-$16. Try its popular take on the egg roll — the soul roll.  Instead of using traditional Asian recipes, Zanzibar stuffs its egg roll with collard greens, black-eyed peas, chicken, cheese and vegetables.
