The Coventry Village Business District has changed greatly since its development at the turn of the 20th century. But one business has been a constant throughout the district's transformations from a strip for the elite, to a bustling Jewish commercial district, to the gathering place for Cleveland's hippies and counterculture.
has been in the same location — though not under the same ownership — since 1911. Owner Andrew Gathy believes because he stocks items for the older homes so numerous in Cleveland Heights.
