Police Investigating Gunshots In Cleveland Heights

No one appears to have been hurt, but residents complained of being woken at 3 a.m. by the sound of gunshots.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Police are investigating gunshots heard on early Monday.

On social media, residents complained of hearing gunshots in the area of Parkside Road and Lincoln Boulevard on Monday. Posts indicated multiple shots were fired in the area.

Cleveland Heights Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg confirmed that police are investigating the gunshots. As of Tuesday morning, there were no witnesses or suspects in the shooting, but police are still investigating the incident.

On Next Door, a resident complained of hearing of hearing the gunshots between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Residents said this may have been the third time gunshots were heard in the area.
