Pool At Heights High Open To Community

Starting Sept. 11, residents will be able to throw on a swimsuit and head to the high school to get some laps in.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” The Cleveland Heights community will be able to make full use of the new pool at the renovated Heights High School. Starting Sept. 11, residents in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District boundaries will be to flash a swim pass and go for a dip.

Swim passes can be purchased through the Cleveland Heights Recreation Department and went on sale Sept. 5. The passes are $70 for a family (two adults and dependents under 18), $32 for adults (19-59), $25 for seniors (60 and up).

Residents making use of a swim pass will need to enter the school through the entrance on Washington Blvd., adjacent to the football stadium. All other entrances to the school may be restricted during post-school hours.

The pool's hours, according to the school district, are as follows:

  • Monday - Friday
    • Adult Lap Swim | 6:00-7:30am
  • Monday - Thursday
    • Adult Lap Swim | 5:30-8:00pm
  • Friday
    • Adult Lap Swim & Family Swim | 5:00-8:00pm
  • Saturday
    • 8:00-10:am | Adult Lap Swim
    • 12:30-2:00pm | Adult Lap Swim & Family Swim
