Mother, Child Dead In Cleveland Heights; Possible Murder-Suicide

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Police are investigating the deaths of a mother and daughter on Delmore Road.

A 34-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter were found dead in the bedroom of a home on Delmore Road on Saturday afternoon, Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg told Patch.

Both mother and daughter were shot to death, Mecklenburg said.

"Both were shot and all indications at this time lead us to believe it was a murder-suicide," Mecklenburg said.

Detectives are still investigating the deaths. Police have promised to release additional information as it becomes available.
