Public Input Needed On Property's Future In Cleveland Heights

Property in the Mayfield-Monticello-Lee Boulevard triangle may be re-zoned for future businesses, depending on input from residents.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” The city's planning commission is asking residents for input on the re-zoning of property in the Mayfield-Monticello-Lee Boulevard triangle. Specifically, residents will be asked to weigh in on the zoning for 3077 Mayfield Road, 2490 Lee Boulevard and 3008 Monticello Boulevard.

The public meeting will be held Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, on the second floor of City Hall, 40 Severance Circle. The meeting's purpose is to gather public input on appropriate zoning for the parcels. All of the property is currently zoned C-1 Office.

The commission is specifically inviting members of the public with expertise or special interest in development. The commission wants to gather as much insight as possible before making a rezoning recommendation, if any, to city council.
