Punch Brothers Come To Cain Park August 9

From Cain Park: Acoustic quintet Punch Brothers returns to the Evans Amphitheater at Cain Park on Thursday, August 9 at 8:00 pm. They are joined by special guest Madison Cunningham. Cain Park is located at 14591 Superior Road in Cleveland Heights.The Free Parking Shuttle Service is available for this concert. The shuttle runs 7-8pm(it does not run during the concert) and up to one hour after the concert ends. Those interested should park at Cleveland Heights City Hall (40 Severance Circle).Punch Brothers are the acoustic quintet of mandolinist Chris Thile, guitarist Chris Eldridge, bassist Paul Kowert, banjoist Noam Pikelny and violinist Gabe Witcher. Says the Washington Post, "With enthusiasm and experimentation, Punch Brothers take bluegrass to its next evolutionary stage, drawing equal inspiration from the brain and the heart."

Their latest album, All Ashore, is out on CD/digital on July 20 and on vinyl on September 7.
