REFRACTION opens at Heights Arts on Friday, June 10

6-9 p.m. Public reception for exhibition of glass art through the Cleveland Institute of Art

Join Heights Arts for the opening reception of REFRACTION: Glass Art through the Cleveland Institute of Art and Brent Kee Young, a celebration of the multi-generational community of glass artists in northern Ohio, centered around the Cleveland Institute of Art on Friday, June 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at its 2175 Lee Road gallery.

Works by Brent Kee Young, Carrie Battista, Robert Coby, Scott Goss, Earl O. James, Brent Marshall, Shawn Messenger, Mike Mikula, Marc Petrovic, Kari Russell-Pool, Mark Sudduth, and Linda Zmina illuminate the exhibition.

A related gallery talk, Ekphrastacy: Artists Talk + Poets Respond, offers an opportunity to hear both glass artists and local poets speak about the exhibition works on Thursday, July 7, 7 p.m. REFRACTION will be on view through July 30.
