Safety Forces Night Out In Cleveland Heights August 7
Residents can meet the men and women of the city's police and fire departments and take part in some family-friendly activities.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Residents will soon have a chance to meet the men and women that protect and serve in Cleveland Heights. The city's 5th Annual Safety Forces Night Out will be held August 7 at the Community Center.
Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg shared details on the event, noting that members of both the police and fire departments will be on-hand to chat with community members. "Hope to see everyone there!" she said in a post on NextDoor.
The Safety Forces Night Out will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees will be able to see and interact with some of the equipment that local safety forces utilize, get information on personal safety and fire topics, and take home literature about the city's police and citizens academy.

The city's SWAT team, bomb squad, K9 Unit, bike squad, fire truck, ambulance, and "fire house" will all be on-hand for the event. The event is family-friendly.
The Cleveland Heights Community Center is located at 1 Monticello Boulevard, at the corner of Monticello and Mayfield Road.
