Woman Finds Her Car Wrapped in Wallpaper…Again

A woman in the 12500 block of Edgewater Drive told police Aug. 14 that she’s found her car wrapped in wallpaper twice in the past two weeks. She thinks the suspect might be her ex-boyfriend, an interior designer.

STOW PATCH

Pair Charged with Having Sex in Complex’s Pool         

A Stow apartment complex recently reported finding a pair having sex in the complex pool.

A leasing agent for Bridgewater Apartments at 4172 Bridgewater Parkway called Stow Police Sunday afternoon after finding a male and a female having sex in the apartment complex swimming pool.

Two women, one a resident of the complex, witnessed the offense and reported it. The pair could face public indecency charges, which are a fourth-degree misdemeanor. 

WESTLAKE PATCH

New Westlake High School Hit With Vandalism: Reward Offered

A reward is being offered for information about vandals who broke into the new Westlake High School building Saturday night, Aug. 17, causing damage throughout the new school building.

The vandals discharged at least nine fire extinguishers, and tipped over buckets of water and glue, throughout theRotunda cafeteria, the media center, the academic wings and the auxiliary gymnasium. 

Westlake Schools is offering a reward for any information that leads to the identities of the vandals. Call the Westlake Schools Safety Line at 440-250-1199 or the Westlake Police Department. 

FAIRLAWN BATH PATCH

14-Year-Old Drives, Breaks (Several) Traffic Laws

A joy ride by a 14-year-old Bath Township boy might have attracted less attention if he hadn't been flagrantly ignoring traffic laws, according to a report.

A resident reported about noon Aug. 13 that the teen was driving the car rapidly back and forth on Ranchwood Road. 

The caller recognized the youth as being 14. When officers arrived, they saw him fail to stop at a stop sign. Police charged the youth with driving without a license and a stop sign violation. Both he and his 13-year-old passenger were released to their mothers.
