Share Your Love Story With The Heights Libraries
Residents can take part in a Valentine's Day-themed recording session and preserve their love story for generations.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Some love stories are worth telling over and over again. For those with funny, inspirational, or beautiful tales, the Heights Libraries is offering a chance to preserve your love story for generations.
The love story program is part of the library system's In My Day oral history project. Residents are encouraged to record themselves telling a story about their lives. In this case, couples will be invited to tell their love stories.
The program will be held Feb. 13, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Each recording session is 30 minutes long and comes with cookies and cocoa.

The In My Day oral history project launched in October 2018 and will run through May 2019. The love story collection near Valentine's Day is one part of a larger project. The library system hopes to collect stories from a variety of residents on any number of topics.
βWith this program, weβll be gathering stories from residents in the hopes of sharing and preserving the Heightsβ unique history for future generations,β said Jessica Robinson, local history librarian at Heights Libraries. βThere are so many important stories waiting to be told here, and we canβt wait to start weaving this tapestry together.β
