Shooting Death In Cleveland Heights Was Not "Random," Police Say
A 32-year-old man was shot to death at an apartment complex on Wednesday morning. Police are now releasing details of their investigation.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The shooting death of a 32-year-old man in Cleveland Heights was not "random," according to Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg. Detectives continue to investigate the killing and are trying to locate a suspect.
The 32-year-old was found in the parking lot of the Bevloir Center Apartments at 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday. He had been shot multiple times.
Cleveland Heights police gave the man CPR but he died in the parking lot.

"Detectives have been investigating this incident since it occurred and will continue to work tirelessly to locate a suspect. Our preliminary investigation indicates that this is not a random crime and we will be sure to provide updates on our investigation as they become available," Mecklenburg said in an update on the investigation.
