Shots Fired At Cleveland Heights House

No one was hurt in the shooting, but two cars were damaged by bullets.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” On Monday night, gunshots rang out in Cleveland Heights, according to police. Several shots were fired at a house on Parkway Drive, but no one was hurt.

Callers told police gunshots were heard at 8:45 p.m. near Parkway. When officers arrived they learned the shots had been fired at a house. No one was hurt, but two vehicles were damaged by bullets, police said.

"In the minutes before the shooting, three young males were observed hanging around the immediate area. They are described as three African American males, one wearing a lighter colored hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and a black knit cap. The second wearing black pants, black shoes, a light colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored jacket. The third male was wearing a dark coat and sweatshirt and light colored sweatpants," said Cleveland Heights Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg.

All three men wore their hoods over their heads. Police said a dark colored vehicle was also seen speeding away from Parkway after the shots were fired.

No arrests have yet been made, Mecklenburg said. Detectives are still investigating the shooting.

"We encourage anyone who may see any suspicious activity or persons in the area to contact us immediately as we will have police patrols in the area," Mecklenburg said.
