Story Walk Comes To Cedar Lee District
Families can walk down Lee Road and read a story in the windows of merchants.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Cleveland Heights will have its first story walk in the Cedar Lee District.
The story walk — a collaboration from the Heights Libraries and the Cedar Lee District — will feature "The Snowy Day," by Ezra Jack Keats. A story walk is a family-friendly outdoor activity where pages of a book are presented along a popular walking route.
The reproduced pages of "The Snowy Day" are featured in merchant windows along Lee Road, including S'Wonderful Gifts, Dewey's Pizza, CLE Urban Winery, Heights Arts, The Wine Spot, Voodoo Brewer, Atma Center and the Lee Road branch of the Heights Libraries.

"We wanted to find a way to promote our local businesses and offer our families a fun, safe holiday activity, too,” said Kelley Robinson, director of the Cedar Lee Special Improvement District. “We hope that while families are enjoying the story, they’ll do some holiday shopping in the district.”
The story walk was installed to coincide with the holiday shopping season, specifically Small Business Saturday. The story will remain up until Jan. 4, 2021.
