Suspected Cigarette Thief Sought In University Heights

Police said they are looking for a man suspected of stealing a "couple" cartons of cigarettes from a University Heights gas station.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH — Police are looking for a man accused of stealing cartons of cigarettes from Speedway. Investigators released an image of the suspect on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the suspect was seen leaving the Cedar Road gas station in a dark colored sedan. Officers believe the man stole "a couple" cartons of cigarettes before leaving.

Anyone with information on the man's identity should contact University Heights Det. Sgt. Respondek at 216-932-8799 ext. 238.
