Suspicious Death In Cleveland Heights: Woman's Boyfriend Sought

Police are asking the public for help finding Crystal Smith's boyfriend, who may have been one of the last people to see her alive.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” Police are looking for the boyfriend of a woman who died under suspicious circumstances.

On Jan. 22, Crystal Smith was found dead in her bedroom at a Noble Road apartment. Her children discovered her body and then called 911.

Police said Smith's death was suspicious, though the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet ruled on what her cause of death was.

One of the last people believed to have seen Smith alive was her boyfriend, Oscar Allen Jr., police said. Cleveland Heights Police said Allen may have information on Smith's death, and what happened to her that evening.

Allen currently has two warrants for his arrest, one for a parole violation and another for theft of a motor vehicle, for stealing Smith's car.

Tips can also be submitted via the department's website at http://www.25crime.com/. CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of Oscar Allen Jr. and callers can remain anonymous.
