The Wine Spot to Open on Lee Road

In May we reported that a Cleveland Heights couple planned to open a wine store just two months after the more than 20-year-old .

It has been claimed that when one door closes, another always opens.

Adam Fleischer and his wife, Susan, are now just a month away from opening their new store, , which will be housed in the former building.

The large space on Lee seemed to be a good fit for the Fleischers retail venture.

"With the additional space in the new location, we will have more flexibility to offer private wine tastings for groups, while not interrupting those who stop by to purchase their favorite labels," said Adam Fleischer, a and Cleveland State University alum.

In another development, The Wine Spot has arranged with the Cleveland Institute of Art to establish an in-store art gallery. This gallery, managed by the CIA, will feature exhibitions by their students throughout the year.

The Wine Spot is slated to open in the second half of November, in time for the holiday season. Specific days and hours of operation have not yet been set, although the plan is for the store to remain open into the evening on some days.
