Tour The Renovated Heights High School
The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District is hosting an open house on Sept. 10.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β After more than two years of construction, Heights High School is back in session, with students and faculty making full-use of the building. For community members eager to see the new facility, an opportunity to tour the building is coming up.
On Sept. 10, the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District will host a grand opening event for the high school. Community members will be invited to tour the building from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors will be able to take self-guided tours or join tours led by student and adult guides. At 2:30 p.m. a 30-minute dedication ceremony will be held in the auditorium and will include performances from student vocalists and speakers. βWe love this building and are very grateful to the community for supporting our students with this beautiful facility,β said Superintendent Talisa Dixon in a statement. βWe want our neighbors, alumni and the entire CH-UH community to join us at the open house and share in our excitement.β
Light refreshments will be served in the high school cafeteria. There will also be interactive information tables led by community and student groups. A television in the cafeteria will also show the Cleveland Browns-Pittsburgh Steelers game, because isn't a Sunday in Greater Cleveland without football.

Attendees should enter through the high school's main entrance on the east side of the building. Parking is available at the high school. However, event organizers are asking attendees to walk, ride their bicycle, or park at the community lots near the school. Bike racks will be available near the main entrance.
