University Heights Man Shot To Death In Cleveland
Police said the man was shot in the head and killed on Tuesday afternoon.
CLEVELAND β A University Heights man was shot to death on E. 147th Street on Tuesday afternoon, Cleveland police announced.
At about 2:30 p.m., while standing in the parking lot of the Fifth District police station, officers heard multiple gunshots. Police were then dispatched to a home on E. 147th Street for reports of a man that had been shot.
When officers arrived they found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head. EMS arrived and the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

The homicide unit and members of the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office were called to the scene. Investigators learned the 20-year-old had been on the porch of a home, with another man, when shots were fired. Police do not yet know where the shots were fired from.
On Wednesday morning, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the 20-year-old as Joseph King, 20, from University Heights.
