Valentine's Day Specials Planned For Coventry Village

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Valentine's Day is fast approaching. For those hopeless romantics adrift without an idea of what to do on the year's most romantic day, take heed. Coventry Village will light up with warmth on Feb. 14.

Many of the neighborhood's most iconic stores, theaters and restaurants will host special events throughout the day, geared for the in-love and temporarily single. Mac's Backs, Grog Shop, B Side Lounge, and several other locations will have themed events for customers.

Ensemble Theatre's latest show, "Intimate Apparel," will be running performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Here's how a spokesperson described the show: "New York circa 1905 is a time and place where rigid social divides along the lines of race, religion, and class exist alongside a burgeoning population of immigrants from abroad and people from all over the U.S., who have moved to the city to seek their fortunes, bringing diversity, excitement,and change. Esther Mills, a skilled African-American seamstress, is able to navigate this changing, dangerous world with her needle and thread, as her talents are much in demand."
