CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” In late February, MetroHealth officials joined Cleveland Heights-University Heights School leaders to announce the launch of a pilot, in-school health program at Heights High.

Before the program is implemented, community members are being asked to provide their input on what services should be provided. The survey is open to students, parents, staff and community members.

The school district said in a post that it wanted to develop "a comprehensive needs assessment" using the survey responses. School leaders said they want to use the program as efficiently as possible.

The new program will bring MetroHealth medical professionals into Heights High twice per-month. The school district and hospital system said they want to eliminate barriers that prevent students from accessing healthcare.
