When Is Winter Break For Cleveland Heights Schools?

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools will go on winter break starting December 23. The recess will continue through the end of the year.

Students will have about three weeks of classes before they go on winter break. The time-off will run from December 23 through January 3. Plenty of time to craft a New Year's Resolution and enjoy the snow.

There will be plenty to do before the winter recess, including holiday concerts, sporting events and dances for students. Parents may want to decorate for the season or prepare for a holiday trip.

  • Roxboro Winter Choir concert - Dec. 10
  • Monticello Winter Band concert - Dec. 17
  • Heights High Gospel Choir Winter concert - Dec. 20
  • Winter's official start - Dec. 21
  • Chanukah begins - Dec. 22
  • Winter break begins - Dec. 23
  • Winter break ends - Jan. 3
