Wild Abandon
May 17, 2015 from 5-6pm
A reading of a new musical
Helen Rosenfield Lewis Bialosky Lab Theatre (Playhouse Square, 1407 Euclid Ave, Cleveland OH 44115)
book, music, and lyrics by Leenya Rideout
featuring the artwork of Lynn Rideout

Lynn is a sweet church lady who advocates the healing power of Jesus and vegetables. According to her daughter Leenya, she’s also “a sitcom character cast in a Greek tragedy.” Though Leenya means “Little Lynn,” and both women are artists, the two couldn’t be more different—or so they think. Using Lynn’s artwork and Leenya’s original songs this quirky, autobiographical one-woman musical examines the most universal and complicated of human relationships: the bond between mother and daughter. Get a first look at this new piece written and performed by Leenya Rideout, who can also currently be seen as Molly Flemmingsen in Fairfield!

Attendance is FREE! Simply RSVP to http://clevelandplayhouse.com/calendar/2015/05/17/wild-abandon
