Women Out Walking Program In Cleveland Heights

The WOW program returns to the city on April 23 with a kick-off event at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - The city's Women Out Walking program is returning to Cleveland Heights. The program runs from April 23 through July 16.

The program is put on by the Cleveland Heights Parks and Recreation Department. The city says the program focuses on encouraging 150 women, ages 18 to senior citizens, to live a healthier lifestyle. Last year, more than 30 million steps were taken by program participants.

The kick-off event will be held April 23 at the Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Blvd. The first 150 registrants get a free Action Tracker pedometer and WOW T-shirt.
