• Closure of Saltwell Road intersection extended (salemnews.net) — Access to Columbiana County Municipal Court, the title office, and other key Lisbon destinations will remain detoured until at least May 14 as Saltwell Road stays closed for extended sewer-line replacement work. Drivers must continue reaching Saltwell from state Route 164 while crews replace a longer stretch of collapsed pipe than originally planned.

• Beloit man pleads guilty to 56 counts of pandering obscenity (morningjournalnews.com) — A Beloit resident has pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to dozens of felony counts related to illegal images involving minors, with sentencing set for July 10. Prosecutors plan to recommend a lengthy prison term and long-term sex offender registration, while the judge will decide whether sentences run concurrently or consecutively.
