Columbus man wanted for strangulation arrested outside Red Roof Inn in Middleburg Heights (cleveland.com) — Columbus residents are at the center of a recent incident where a 26-year-old man wanted on a strangulation warrant was arrested after a dispute at a Middleburg Heights hotel. A Columbus woman who knew him reported her Jeep stolen and later alleged an assault during their drive from Columbus, with troopers advised to review that claim.
   

4. Ohio man sentenced for federal drug crime in West Virginia (wvnstv.com) — A Columbus man has been sentenced in federal court to 10 years in prison for distributing methamphetamine tied to cartel sources in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Columbus police assisted alongside West Virginia agencies, and the defendant faces immigration proceedings after completing his sentence and supervised release.
