Cuyahoga Falls Nurses Receive Spa Treatments for National Nurses Week

Nurses and other hospital workers at Summa Western Reserve Hospital were celebrated by the hospital for their work.

pampers its nurses in honor of National Nurses Week.

Nurses and other healthcare workers were given gifts and spa treatments at the hospital Friday. The nursing staff was invited to attend a luncheon and awards ceremony, where their peers were recognized as Nursing Excellence nominees and winners.

“The dedication of our nursing staff is tremendous,” said Suzanne Gill, RN, chief nursing officer for Summa Western Reserve Hospital, in a press release. “They deserve more than a week of recognition for the commitment and professionalism with which they care for our patients and the community. This week was a great way to say ‘Thank you’ and truly appreciate all that our nurses do.”
