• Crews are removing over 850000 cubic yards of toxic sediment from Ohio's Cuyahoga River (dredgewire.com) — A massive cleanup is underway on the Cuyahoga River in Cuyahoga Falls, where crews are removing more than 850,000 cubic yards of contaminated sediment near the Gorge Dam. The EPA-led project, running through 2027, stabilizes and caps polluted material downstream to reduce health risks for people, fish, and wildlife while helping restore the river's long-polluted stretch.
