Grab a couple of girlfriends with the same guilt problem and get the knowledge and the motivation you need to get those photos out of the closet and onto scrapbook pages. is offering beginner scrapbook classes – and at 40 percent off if you sign up this week. In four once-a-week, two-hour sessions you’ll learn all the basic scrapbooking techniques.

in Fairlawn has a beginner class starting 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11. The Cuyahoga Falls store also will offer beginner classes at a date and time to be determined. Call the at 330-666-3553 for times and dates. Register this week at either store and get the $45 class for just $27.

Already know the basics of scrapbooking? Both Michael’s locations are offering a weekly Crop Night. Just $5 reserves your spot and gives you access to some really cool toys like Cricut and Sizzix machines that help you turn out great looking pages. Crop nights are 2:30-8:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 19 at the Montrose store and 3-8:45 p.m. beginning Feb. 18 at the Cuyahoga Falls location.
