Four Instances of Tire Slashing Over the Weekend

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Phelps Avenue was the target of a rash of tire slashings over the weekend.

  • A man living in the 2500 Phelps Avenue told police that on July 23, someone slashed two of his tires while his car was parked in the street.
  • A woman living in the 2400 block of Phelps Avenue told police thart on July 23, someone slashed two of her tires while her car was parked in her driveway.
  • A man living in the 2500 block of Phelps Avenue told police that sometime between July 21 and 24, someone slashed two of his tires while his car was parked on the street.

Only one of the tire slashings was on Burnham Jump Drive, but there was damage to another person's property on the same street.

  • A woman living in the 2900 block of Burnham Jump Drive told police that sometime between July 23 and 24, someone slashed the driver's side tires on her mother's car while it was parked in the street in front of her apartment.
  • A man living in the 2900 block of Burnham Jump Drive told police that sometime between July 23 and 24, someone pulled five landscape lights out of his flower bed, breaking four of them. A glass ornament was also found broken in the driveway.
