No Changes in Security at Akron Canton Airport
After the announcement of Osama bin Laden's death, the security level stays put at CAK.
officials say they’ll remain vigilant in their security measures in light of Osama bin Laden’s death.
The airport’s security coordinator met with the Transportation Security Administration and Summit County Sheriff’s officials this morning to go over plans for safety, said Rick McQueen, president and CEO of the Akron-Canton Airport.
“The key here for us is safety is our highest priority,” McQueen said.
“With instances like this you always want to go back over your programs and try to make sure we’re all working at our highest level.”
The airport’s security level remains unchanged.
