Owner of New-2-You Consignment Shop Hopes to Bring Business to Cuyahoga Falls

Someone's "junk" is another person's treasure at the new store in Cuyahoga Falls, New-2-You Consignment Shop. Located at 3205 State Rd., next to the , New-2-You opened for business in August. Owner Mike Touma buys, sells and takes consignments of furniture, jewelry and antiques.

have noticed an increase in sales since the economic downturn. Touma likes to think of the economy as “challenging.”

“I’d like people to challenge the economy and bring the economy back,” Touma said. “But if we’re all scared then we’re going to make it worse, we’re not going to make it any better.”

This is the second store for Touma, who also owns New To You at 161 Brittain Rd. in Akron. They also buy estate sales, and will remove furniture and other items from houses and apartments.

Touma, a Cuyahoga Falls resident, decided to open the State Rd. store to bring business to Cuyahoga Falls.

New-2-You offers an eclectic mix of sofas, dressers, Coca-Cola memorabilia, lamps and knickknacks. As far as antiques, Touma has a hutch from the late 1700s in his shop.

The State Rd. New-2-You is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
