Summit DD Dream Out Loud Studio Artists Selected for Statewide Art Tour
Summit DD invites the community to celebrate the arts by attending at statewide exhibition, hosted by VSA Ohio.

(Tallmadge, Ohio) – The Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD) invites the community to celebrate the arts by attending at statewide exhibition, hosted by VSA Ohio. The Accessible Expressions Ohio exhibition and tour began in 1996 to raise awareness about the arts and abilities of every citizen. VSA Ohio created the event to help inspired artists connect with their passion and provide inclusive opportunities that celebrate life through the arts.
Two artists from Summit DD’s Dream Out Loud Studio had their works selected for the traveling tour. “We were very excited to have artists selected again for this year’s tour. It is such a great opportunity to showcase amazing talents and promote awareness for individuals with developmental disabilities,” shared Jacquie Owens, Summit DD’s Business Innovations Manager.
To kick off the nine month tour, an opening ceremony will be held on at the Westerville Community Center, 350 N. Cleveland Avenue in Westerville, on March 14, 2015 at 12 PM. The tour will then travel throughout the state visiting various studios, cafes and other community locations.
