• New state grant money will help Dayton clean up major illegal dump sites (eagledayton.com) — Dayton has secured a major share of more than $1 million in state grant money to clean up long-standing illegal dump sites, including an entire block of Delphos Avenue near West Third Street. City sustainability staff say the roughly $92,000 requested will tackle debris, tires, and other hazards that affect safety, mosquitoes, and neighborhood morale, especially for vocal Westwood residents.
