Located near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the facility will focus on advanced Air Force hardware and software, expanding General Atomics' existing presence and deepening the region's role in cutting-edge aerospace technology.

• Leidos joins Anduril in U.S. Air Force design deal (defence-blog.com) — New Air Force research work tied to an $85 million contract will be carried out in Dayton through 2036, focusing on advanced digital tools for designing future aircraft. While funding is task-order based, the long-term VOLARE program strengthens Wright-Patterson–centered research and could support high-tech jobs and collaborations in the region.
