1. 29-year-old dies after being hit by cruiser in Montgomery County (whio.com) — A 29-year-old Dayton man has died after being struck by a Montgomery County sheriff's cruiser Saturday night at Shoup Mill Road and Riverside Drive in Harrison Township. Authorities say the deputy hit the pedestrian while responding to reports of someone walking erratically in the roadway; both the victim and deputy were taken to local hospitals, and the man later died.
   

2. Saint Francis Apizza recalls frozen pizzas over undeclared soy allergen (dayton247now.com) — If you shop at Tony and Pete's in downtown Dayton, check your freezer: several Saint Francis Apizza frozen varieties are being recalled because they contain undeclared soy, a serious allergen. The pizzas were sold at multiple southwest Ohio locations and online, and customers are urged to discard them or seek a refund from the company, especially if anyone in the household has soy allergies.
   

3. FRIDAY-SUNDAY WHITE HOUSE SCHEDULE - President Trump travels to Mobile, Ala., and Dayton, Ohio (tradingview.com subscription) — President Trump is scheduled to fly into Dayton on Saturday and deliver evening remarks at the Butler-Vandalia Student Activity Center, with local and national media in tow. The White House schedule lays out his exact arrival, speech time, and departure, giving Dayton-area residents a clear sense of when to expect motorcades and heightened security.
   

4. National Fuel Completes CenterPoint Ohio Utility Acquisition, Doubling Rate Base (citybiz.co) — Natural gas customers in the Dayton and greater Miami Valley region will now be served by National Fuel Gas Distribution of Ohio after the company completed its acquisition of CenterPoint's Ohio utility business. Service, billing, and online access will continue unchanged for about 335,000 added customers, while National Fuel plans long-term investment and community involvement across its new Ohio territory.
