Summer Crisis Program nearing end, Miami Valley residents have until Sept. 30 to apply (dayton247now.com) — Dayton-area households struggling with electric bills or cooling costs still have until Sept. 30 to apply for one-time help through the Miami Valley Community Action Partnership's Summer Crisis Program. Eligible residents in Montgomery and nearby counties can get hundreds toward utility bills, up to $1,500 for central air repairs, or even an air conditioner or fan, but all documents must be in by 4 p.m. on deadline day.
