Crews have restored most service, but some Montgomery County homes are still waiting, worrying about heat, spoiled food, and when electricity will finally return.
   

• Man thankful not to be hurt after bullets hit his car in Dayton shooting (whio.com) — A man picking up food at the North Main Drive-Thru in Dayton narrowly avoided injury when gunfire erupted nearby and bullets struck his car. Dayton police and Montgomery County deputies later found a 30-year-old shooting victim on Maplelawn Drive, and detectives from the Violent Offender Unit are continuing to investigate.
