• Ground broken on fifth Olentangy high school (delgazette.com) — A new Olentangy high school is officially under construction on recently annexed land along Bunty Station Road inside the City of Delaware, with opening targeted for the 2028-29 school year. City and county officials joined district leaders to celebrate the project, funded by a 2025 bond issue, which aims to ease overcrowding and expand opportunities for local students. 
• 1 dead, 1 injured in early morning head-on collision (abc6onyourside.com) — A deadly head-on collision on US 42 in Delaware early Tuesday left one driver dead at the scene and another hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, closing the road for about four hours. Delaware police say drugs and alcohol are not suspected as they continue reconstructing the crash between a Honda Odyssey and a Kia Sportage and have not yet released the victims’ names.
• Catherine Kent Named to Dean's List at Ohio Wesleyan University (thesalinepost.com) — Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware has named Catherine Kent of Saline, Michigan, to its spring 2026 Dean’s List, recognizing students who earn at least a 3.5 GPA. The announcement also highlights OWU’s broad academic offerings and NCAA Division III athletics based right here in Delaware.
