Authorities say the incident was discovered on a shared computer in Medina, and school officials emphasize that Dockery is no longer employed and that student safety remains their priority. 
• Toddler kidnapped in stolen SUV, abandoned on Cleveland sidewalk (news5cleveland.com) — A terrifying kidnapping that began during a food delivery run ended with the stolen SUV abandoned just a few blocks into East Cleveland, where officers later found it empty. The 2-year-old girl was first left alone on a Cleveland sidewalk but was quickly rescued by a nearby resident and reunited with her mother, while police continue searching for the thieves.
• Shirley C. Brown (medina-gazette.com) — East Cleveland readers may remember Shirley Brown, who was born there in 1937 before building a long life of family, nursing, and church service around Greater Cleveland and Medina. Her family invites friends to visitation on October 29 and a funeral eucharist on October 30 in Medina, and suggests memorial donations to her church, care community, or hospice providers.
