• Volleyball Recap: Boardman's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to 13 (maxpreps.com) — Boardman’s volleyball team, riding a 13-match winning streak, will visit East Liverpool for a Monday matchup at 6:30 p.m., giving local fans a chance to see a hot opponent in action. The Spartans are 13-3 after another strong win, while East Liverpool now gets a home shot at ending their run. 
• Beaver Local High School earns national recognition (morningjournalnews.com) — Beaver Local High School was just ranked the top high school in the Salem metro area and among the top 16 percent of schools nationwide, and some of its seniors will head to East Liverpool High School for a College & Career Fair on Oct. 7. The school is also rolling out new initiatives on AI ethics and career readiness, giving local students more ways to prepare for life after graduation.
