• Elyria Youth Track Club celebrates successful regular season (morningjournal.com) — Young athletes from the Elyria Youth Track Club just wrapped up their 2026 season with a community-backed celebration that fed every participant and family member. With support from Elyria City Schools, local nonprofits, and small businesses, more than 100 kids gained affordable access to track, mentorship, and even meal tickets, while many competed in their first-ever races. 
• Two lucky tickets split Ohio Lottery jackpot in Lorain County (shorenewsnetwork.com) — An Elyria man and a Lorain woman are splitting a $110,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot after both matched all five numbers in the June 20 drawing. The Elyria winner, who recently hit a smaller prize, bought his ticket in Amherst and plans to share the windfall with his family, while the Lorain winner will also spread the winnings among her children and grandchildren.
