• G&W Products to expand its Seward Road facility in Fairfield (journal-news.com) — A Fairfield manufacturer, G&W Products, is investing $3.1 million to expand its Seward Road facility, backed by a new city tax abatement. The project will add 17,000 square feet, create at least 10 new full-time jobs, boost payroll, and generate payments to Fairfield and Butler Tech schools, with construction expected to finish by year’s end. 
• Fairfield's Marsh Park Showdown: City Races Ahead As Lakefront Neighbors Revolt (hoodline.com) — Fairfield is pushing ahead with a $12 million Marsh Park overhaul, including new trails, expanded docks, and a potential 6,000-square-foot lakeside restaurant, while nearby residents organize a petition drive to force a November vote. City leaders say the plan follows a formal master-planning process and will only affect about five acres, but upcoming park board and council decisions could quickly set construction in motion.
